This sounds SO similar to my situation. I am also the NMC for next year and we have previously held our Bid Day parties at a girl's house off campus who had a pool. We also decided to do something different this year. We are going to rent a pavilion at a local park and grill out, play games, etc! We are going to play a football type game to reveal prides. It goes along with our Bid Day shirts that have the NFL logo on them and say "Alpha Delta Pi (instead of NFL) Best Recruits, try outs again next fall!"
Our formal recruitment chair designed them...i love it!
