norcalKAO, I have to agree with Tom on this. I would have no patience for the Chico Greek community if they started saying, "The university's only 'harassing' us because they want to expand their building projects. They're kicking us off because they want our land."
No, they're 'harassing' you because you're killing each other.
Do the Greeks think that the university *feels good* about seeing their name in the paper all the time with such bad press?? Perhaps it's time for the Greeks to take RESPONSIBILITY for themselves and not blame others for their bad behaviour. Maybe your friend should concentrate on trying to make improvements to her chapter, and the Greek system, and worry less about whether or not the university is expanding. Would they rather have non-housed fraternities and sororities....or none at all?
