One phrase to keep in mind, and keep your budget intact is when you go shopping and see something that you want to buy, ask yourself, "Is this a Want or a Need?"
You do need a certain amount of nice clothes for school and work, but a $150+ purse (for example) is a Want, not a Need. You'll be surprised how much you'll save with that expression in mind!
There are also many online sites for living frugally. Many of them go MUCH too far, but you'll get a good idea or two. Just put frugal living or thrift or such in your search engine. Good luck!!
