This doesn't dispute the claim. I usually look to snopes to dispell the silly email claims.
My husband has been in Iraq since last October. I wear red on some Fridays. I also wear red on other days because it is school colors and I work at the University. When I do it on Fridays, I feel like that is what it means. I also wear a yellow ribbon pin and that definitely makes the reason I am wearing red obvious.
