I was just thinking about that yesterday! I can't even look at mounds of things with too many legs, seeing them all wiggling at once sends me straight over the edge (like ant hills)! If it doesn't look right, I can't take it, even if I'm not scared of that particular bug (and I'm not scared of bugs really).
Has anyone ever
acquired a fear, like you weren't scared of it until you met someone who was? Like I was never scared of clowns till I got to college and all the girls in my dorms would tell me horror stories of the day they became scared of clowns, now you'd think I'm Chuckie from Rugrats the way I act around pictures of clowns! Same with spiders, they were never a big deal until I met my best friend, who's scared of them. Then, suddenly soooo much was wrong with them...
