"As I said before, it's pretty obvious that the two are being paired for the first half of this season. With the comments from Sarah, and some of the others, there will be some kind of Buffy/Spike relationship this season. I'm keeping the 'unrequited love' spoiler where it is, because there is a good chance that they might recognize their feelings but not act on it. Imagine a 'Something Blue' scenario during the musical, but both end up feeling very awkward about their 'heart to heart' afterwards. I know that this will thrill some and upset others, but it fits the story arc for the season, it fits the direction the writers were heading all last season, and it fits the spoilers that are out there. I also don't feel that this is something that is going to happen because Buffy isn't currently 'herself'. Buffy might have come back a bit confused, but that doesn't mean that she isn't in her right mind. I think that in terms of a storyline, it will make a great deal of sense and be a very powerful one as well."
