Not the best 4th I've ever had.
We drove 5.5 hours (one way) to visit my husband's uncle in Lawrence, KS, shoot off illegal fireworks in his driveway.
And it rained, so they didn't even get to shoot off that many.
About 18 hours after we got there, we turned around and drove 5.5 hours back.
Had a cookout with a friend and then watched the fireworks in town.
Pretty much the most pointless holiday we've had.

It's gonna be a hootenanny.
Or maybe a jamboree.
Or possibly even a shindig or lollapalooza.
Perhaps it'll be a hootshinpaloozaree. I don't know.
