dear friends, thank you all for the good wishes. i spent 6 hours of my birthday journeying to north florida to prepare for the reception we were throwing on saturday to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary, so i missed all these lovely messages.
the reception went off without a hitch, lots of people turned out, but i am awfully glad that 50th wedding anniversaries come around only once-my poor feet are still aching!!!
