back to your original question--i never saw the movie, but i think for the comedic effect, the writers wouldve used "omicron" but i guess to give it a more cliche greek college movie, they'd use "omega"--personally i would think omega over omicron if i was making some letter association with the college frat scene.

I haven't seen the movie, but what would have been comedic about using the letter omicron?
