It's really amazing how songs these days have no substance or style. Anyone can sit down and write a song that may actually be a hit. I may get criticism about this but R. Kelly's 5 chapters of Trapped in the Closet is a prime example. The melody is nice but the lyrics could've been better.
..."He approaches the closet!
...."I pull out my beretta!"
...."He's now opening the closet...CLOSET...CLOSET!!!"
Nuff said!
And I really can't believe that Nivea has a song about McDonald's
