I realized that I did not answer! Come on all of you beautiful AOII's. I know you have some treasured AOII memories!!!
What/who is your most treasured...
AOII memory?
My intitation dinner with all of my friends from IHQ AND Beryana!
AOII object (not jewelry)?
Probably the 1898 Barnard senior yearbook of our founders. It has wonderful poetry by Stella and Jessie.
AOII jewelry piece?
Either the lavalier in pearls and rubies that Silver Mom gave me

or the badge that I wear daily. The badge was returned to IHQ with a note from the family requesting that it go to someone who would wear it daily. It is VERY thin as the original owner did wear it daily. I love that little badge that I bought through the historic badge program and wear it in the original owner's honor everyday (that I have on appropriate clothing). It is so neat to feel connected to something larger than oneself.
AOII friend (may have more than one!)?
Silver Mom (obviously), Beryana, AOIIAlum, the women from the Murfreesboro and Nashville AACs
AOII GC friend (may have more than one!)?
OleMissGlitter, AOIIGal, nphgator, aopirose, rubyrose..*Geez* all of you super great sisters!
AOII saying?
AOII was not your legacy, but rather your destiny.
