Since my earlier post, I have also found out that a sister of Alpha Phi was on one of the flights that crashed.
It inspiring to see each organization reach out to victims and the families of victims to help. We each joined our organization for a enduring friendships and lifetime membership. I think this is really showing now.
Although some of our brothers and sisters are now part of the "Omega" chapter, we remember them and find peace in knowing that we will one day be reunited.
I think it would really nice if the greek organizations got together at each university and created a memorial for the brothers and sisters lost in the 9/11 tragety. If we could contribute something to our universities in their honor...be it a plaque, monument, garden, etc......it would be a testament to our dedication to our enduring sisterhoods/brotherhoods.
