I don't cry, not ever. Yes, I'm a freak of nature

When I was growing up, my family was really big on the "don't ever let anyone know you're hurting because they'll think you're weak" and "you have to toughen up" schools of thought. So my sister and both learned to suck it up and hide whatever we were feeling.

Somehow she's no longer like that, but I'm still pretty stoic in most situations. This was very frustrating for my chapter's Rush Chairmen, especially during Pref parties. (Tracy, can you please try to show some emotion???)

One more thing: As far as crying to manipulate, my MIL wins the prize for that one. She was the only female in a house with Mr. KR, his two brothers and their dad so she learned that all she had to do was turn on the waterworks to get what she wanted. When she and I had a disagreement concerning the wedding guest list, she tried that with me but I let her know that it wasn't going to work (and was really pi$$ing me off) and to cut it out. People like her give women a bad name.
