I can even remember hating this chore as a teenager. Whenever it was my week to do the dishes I would just put it off and always get in trouble. I remember one night my mother made me get up at 3am to do the dishes because I had not done them. I literally feel asleep with my hands in the dish water. After that she just gave up. I still refuse to wash dishes. I will do everything else but dishes, thats my hubby's job!!! Paper plates are my best friend and I'm not afraid to say it.

My mom did that to me too!! Only in my case it was my sister's turn to wash and she didn't do a good job and mom took EVERY dish, glass, piece of silverware out and made BOTH of us wash it ALL at 2 in the morning. Needless to say, I made life miserable for my sister for about 3 days.
Speaking of dishes, I hate putting away the dishes once they are done in the dishwasher!! Usually it's because Hubby will run the dishwasher while I'm at work and that means when I come home tired and hungry I have to stop and put dishes away before I can fix myself something to eat.
