i totally don't think danny deserved to be hit. however, being a native austinite and frequenter of the warehouse district and 6th, i can absolutely see that happening and no one accepting responsibility and the cops ignoring it. i was in a terrible people stampede last year on 6th, was knocked completely unconcious and run over, and came away with a serious head injury. even though the cops witnessed it all, they didn't do anything. obviously it can be dangerous down there and these guys just didn't have any idea what they were getting into.

the thing that annoyed me the most was johanna trying to "apologize" to nehemiah later that night, stating she didn't even know what happened when clearly she started the whole ordeal! she seems to be totally aware that alcohol gives her a jekyll and hyde personality split, so why would it be so hard for her to figure out what happened...!
