An officer is not allowed to walk through a closed door even if it's unlocked. Even if someone had called and complained on you all they still have to knock on the door and be let inside. If I was in your situation, I probably wouldn't have said anything while the cops were there. You might get yourself in trouble if you run your mouth. I probably would've waited for them to leave and then contacted the chief of police or someone in charge.
