I can even remember hating this chore as a teenager. Whenever it was my week to do the dishes I would just put it off and always get in trouble. I remember one night my mother made me get up at 3am to do the dishes because I had not done them. I literally feel asleep with my hands in the dish water. After that she just gave up. I still refuse to wash dishes. I will do everything else but dishes, thats my hubby's job!!! Paper plates are my best friend and I'm not afraid to say it.

That use to happen to me with sweeping the floor, I would clean the whole kitchen and not sweep and about 3 am here comes Moms.
