I tried the Aerobed thing and had the same weird problem. I always felt like I was falling off my bed and it kept deflating. So not worth it. Now I have a memory foam mattress topper (from Costco) and it's awesome. I have a good mattress to begin with but this gives the extra ooomph of a really good bed. I think they're about $125 for a queen size. Totally worth it.
