Rush at Ole Miss is usually exciting. Ole Miss is a very preppy school that draws well from neighboring states. Accordingly, a higher percentage of their student body is interested in joining a frat or sorority, which makes for a highly competitive situation.
There is a Chi Omega thing at Ole Miss that has become legendary, dating back to around 1960, when two Chi Omegas from Ole Miss won Miss America titles, nearly back-to-back.
I have a friend at Ole Miss who is ChiO and will try to get an update, but she has been heads-down busy for over a week preparing for rush and I may not hear back from her until she has recouped from the process.
