Hmmm, I just keep reading and re-reading sickofthesefolks' posts and I just don't get it. How is it possible to HATE ALL of your LS's? I really feel like this isn't for real. I mean, dang, you've got to like AT LEAST one!!
But if this is for real...
I want to know have you at least made some kind of effort to get to know these women? I feel like if you are putting SO much effort and strength into learning your stuff, etc, then you should be putting that same effort into getting to know your LS's. I personally think this is just a classic case of "I don't like them inside the process, but rather outside of it". Have you ever spoken to them on just a getting to know you level? Do you still dislike them? Well, to me, it sounds like you haven't taken the time to get to know them outside of having to work w/ them through this process. I've had some experience w/ this situation where an associate (pledge) absolutely hates person A cuz person A isn't doing their share of whatever. However, outside of that...when they are bonding....they find that person A is cool as hell. I don't know, that's just what it seems like to me. It's kinda weird, but whatever...
I think I can speak on behalf of all Greeks (hopefully I can do that cuz you know we all family up in here

) when I say that the membership process is not meant for you to
solely learn about the sorority/fraternity. It's also meant for you to learn about yourself and the people that are going through the process with you. If you are not doing that and strictly concentrating on the info, then you are gonna have problems...and you can see that already!
Basically, you are only gonna get out what you put in. I'm not sure what you've been doing about trying to get to know these women, but if your answer is "nothing", then you've got a LOT more learning to do. And like everyone said, you might think you'll cross regardless, but you're gonna be looking pretty silly if they decide to drop ya'll. And trust us, they KNOW what's going on. I was the Asst. Dean of our last pledge class and whenever they had issues, I knew...and most of the time, I knew before they even said a word to us about it (that's WHEN they decided to even say a word about it

)
But that's JMO. I hope you situation gets better.
