You are right, most folks, if they play cards, play spades, not bid and a lot of our friends do "game night" (with scatterories, gestures, pictionary, etc.) instead of card parties.

You're right. I haven't gone to a card party in about a year, but folks love to play Taboo (okay, me too) and the like. I want to insist on Bid Whist for the next game. I think I'm gonna force that at my bro's 24th birthday party, and the younguns are gonna have to learn.
