I am not sure what to tell you. Beta gets better for me every day. I paid $250 a semester when I was an undergrad, worth every penny for me. I know some houses charge 10 times that, but it includes a room in the house and a meal plan. A chapter cannot operate without a proper budget, so $500 a semester to cover social events, brotherhood events, a formal (that's nice) and other misc. budgets, is pretty nice.
I just hope you don't make a decision now that you may regret later.
