I concur with you. Regardless of the smoke and mirrors they use to recruit (ie techniques also used by companies, colleges/univeristies to get our young men to join their sports program, etc.), there is always a chance that you will have to fight somewhere (not even on the scale of Operation Iraqi Freedom, but on smaller scales as well).
Even if its a small chance of being put into action, its still a chance.
