Military Servitude Facade! BEWARE!

Hotep Brothers. I write w/peace & respect. Interestingly, it has become somewhat of the norm for a society to "believe" the MYTH that the MAJORITY of BLACKS serving in the military are ever so desirous of wearing a uniform.

For the uninformed who love to cosign about the uniformed they should ponder the question as to one word, "why?" Why do BLACKS join the military? Granted, a number do so out of the desire to champion the cause for freedom. Perhaps there are those who believe in being patriotic. I beg to state from MY EXPERIENCE as an HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERAN who served six years as an OFFICER (active duty) and who participated in the first Gulf War as well as a few other missions that I can state w/FACTUAL EVIDENCE the disparity of military servitude being influenced by SOCIOEkkkONOMIC CONDITIONS.

When a BLACK PERSON is able to realize the element/role SOCIOEkkkONOMICS that is had upon a BLACK MILITARY SERVICEMEMBER that compells servitutde to be had then h/she usually can identify and empathize with "LOGICAL" reasoning other than making absurb parallels that attempt to best explain why a BLACK PERSON so chooses to wear a military uniform.

I am a veteran, and I am not alone in my thinking. As a matter of fact, I come from a family in which my father (RIP DAD) earned TWO PURPLE hearts while serving two tours in Vietnam as a member of Uncle Sams Misguided Children (USMC). As a major leaugue baseball prospect who was not able to dodge the draft despite playing college baseball he was not allowed to use "college" as a smokescreen, avoid the draft, or join the National Guard (aka The Bush Guard) only to suffer the ill-fate of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of BLACK MEN who were FORCED to serve the military and return back to the states physically/mentally challenged forever and never the same! Visist your local VA Hospital and rap w/a "BLOOD" from Nam. I promise you will be challenged to not shed a few tears. They had goals, dreams, and though a few attained prosperity & health a GREAT MANY DID NOT!

Times might have changed somewhat w/regards to the implementation of the draft but the "COVERT" tactics are still employed and strategically used to "TRICK" BLACKS into signing up for Uncle Sam.
