Okay so I found the cutest dress at Spiegel.com for opening banquet. Ordered it weeks ago - got a confirmation number and a shipping date that was only a few days later.

Just yesterday, I received another email from Spiegel.com saying that the dress was on back order and I should receive it by July 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't they have told me that weeks ago??????

I'm so upset, it was such a cute dress, a little bit on sale, plus 20 or 30% off because I voted on the "bag of the season".... and now it looks like I am starting from scratch.

I'm going to call them Monday to see if there is any chance of getting it on time and see if they are willing to pay to ship it express - who knows, maybe they will surprise me and do it - doesn't hurt to ask, right?

Oh well, back to the drawing board!
