There are a few shows I like that originally aired before I was even born:

The Avengers
Get Smart
Usually, when I start watching a new show, it's current, so I watch the first-run eps as they air, and use eps in syndication (if available) to catch up with the story to date. It's fun trying to catch up when you're watching 3 different seasons of a show at once.
