Lady, I tried the Jergens stuff last summer -- came off on my clothes, and the "glimmer" (i.e. glitter) was pretty noticeable.
The best use for it, I think, is if you're wearing a knee length skirt to work and you want your lower legs to look (more) tan. I tried it with a short skirt to go out once, but I looked like I was 13 and headed to an NSYNC concert. I'm telling you, too much glitter.
