As GMU is largely recognized as a commuter school(though that is changing), I might as well take it. A commuter school is one where a sizeable chunk of the student body doesn't live on campus. They commute day to day from their houses, either living with their families or in apartments on campus. Dorms on a commuter school are few in comparission to the total number of students.
Commuter schools also have parking problems, jerks for parking attendants, 10 minute per quarter meters. I recieved a 75 dollar ticket for parking right next to a friends dorm instead of hunting down a space.
