I've gone to Aveda Institute to get my hair cut. The student stylist did a great job on my hair, and even put me in her "book". But other than that one experience, I've never gone to a non-black stylist or salon. I've become pretty savvy with my own hair( relaxers, dyeing, etc.), and if I mess it up, I can just blame myself instead of a stylist who messed up. And its cheaper.
