Librasoul, where are you???????? No posts, no IM's... where you at? I got some questions, lol, I hope you're reading this!

First of all, I heard on the radio this morning that Eric Sermon was in a car accident... broke his jaw, arm, and leg. Wasn't wearing a seatbelt. I honestly didn't know people still DIDN'T wear their seatbelts. Sparkle won't move if you don't put your seatbelt on. I don't play that. Anyway, moving on...

I just want to let yall know, I've been pulling an IDEAL08 move as CT4 likes to call it, and I've been taking notes of what I wanted to tell yall in this thread. I can't help it, my memory is shot. Anywho... (I'm in a real chatty mood today, can yall tell, lol?)

Alicia Keyes is now the most listened to artist on the radio, with her single "Fallin'," beating out Destiny's Child's "Independent Woman." I thought that was cool!! Go 'head on, Alicia, girl, wit'cho bad self!

I guess they're playing the new Angie Stone single on the radio now? I still haven't heard it since the concert, but I'm listening to the radio all day now, since the CD player on the computer doesn't work. Librasoul, what's the haps on this? Is her album release still contingent upon how her single does?

Lastly, I just heard Dawn Robinson's new single on the radio. I like it!! Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name.

So, what's goin on with yall and yall's music? What have you bought recently? What video do you like? Let's talk about some tunes.
Ideal08...I have been busier than usual just lately...

Anyhoo, as far as Angie Stone goes, she did indeed jump to J Records. Her song "Brotha" is now getting radio airplay and seems to be doing fairly well so far. Her album is still slated to drop in October, but there is not a firm date just yet.

Dawn Robinson's single is nice, her CD will be out either October or November. She kinda cuts down both En Vogue AND Lucy Pearl if you listen closely to some of her lyrics.

Alicia's "Fallin'" has been the number one single according to Billboard for-like-ever! She has now released "A Woman's Worth" to radio. It is a critical sucess, so we just need to see how it goes over with the public. Personally, that is my favorite song on the CD. My JAM!

Finally, I have not bought a CD since Mary. It has been slow, release-wise, aside from Jay-Z. I'm not really the biggest Jay-Z fan so I will just *whisper* burn it.
