There's a big difference between Publix and Winn-Dixie or Albertson's. Winn-Dixie, in my view, caters to rednecks/hill-billies and black people (those are usually the only types of people you see in there). Albertson's caters to mexicans/spanish people or broke ass college students...another words, people with no money....where as Publix caters to upper-scaled type of people. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I saw a black person shopping in Publix.
Anyhow, you get the idea.
On the lobster thing......I've always been to Publix's (with the exception of the one in Gainesville) that have huge seafood and lobster sections.
