Once again, how sad that people think they need to launch grenades at someone just because they disagree with their point of view. If one looks back to the original poster-- she was looking for help. If you do not agree with my opinion, that is certainly your right. However, it weakens your position when you attack the person-- rather than the idea.

Well, the fact that you're looking at Dr. Phil's website is scary enough.
To advise an online community that has many members under the age of 21 that if they've been dating 2 years and aren't engaged that there's something wrong with their relationship, is silly at best and dangerous at worst.
And yes, this thread was to provide the OP with help that she requested. It wasn't to spout a bunch of statistics and judgmental cliches, which probably made her feel even WORSE about her situation.
