I've never been a huge Star Wars fan. Hell, I only remember small bits and pieces from episodes I and II, and barely anything at all about IV, V, and VI. I had to ask Mr. SSS last night to remind me what happened at the VERY end.
That said, I really enjoyed this movie when I went to see it last night. I didn't cry or anything (probably because of my aforementioned lack of emotional attachment) but I was sad when Anakin killed the younglings, and when Padme died. I was also wanting to yell, "Don't do it!" when Anakin started to turn to the Dark Side, and I wanted to bitch-slap Palpatine. It was sad how he tricked him, and how the biggest reason Anakin turned was because he thought that he would be able to save Padme that way... and it's really only
because he turned that she died.
Now I understand why Darth Vader wears that getup though.
And lastly... I heart Yoda
