Well I am sure that I will be seeing it again during this weekend...YAY I'm in SF.

My thoughts about the whole Qui-Gon thing.....do you recall how Obi Wan, Yoda and Anakin (old) appeared at the end of ROTJ? I think that is was Yoda was referring too...communing from the other side using the force. That is how Obi-Wan got to speak with Luke in Empire and Jedi.

Yea, I had some tears, especially in the Temple and the youngling said "Master Skywalker, is everything is alright?" or something to that effect and then he gasped, that broke my heart.

Me and my best friend and the guys sitting behind us were saying, NO, please stop, NO.

Ian McDirmand DESERVES and oscar nod, he did such a great job and he made me HATE him.

I don't think Anakin turned too quickly, Palpatine has been in his ear for years, then the insult with not being granted the title of Master as he got to sit on the council, Padme dreams.

What the council feared and knew about Anakin is that he used his emotion to become stronger, there was nothing they could do to break him of that. Remember the council did not want Anakin and were "forced" to except him b/c of Qui-Gon's dying wish, he was not trained as a traditional Jedi, Obi-wan taught him eveything, he did not have any "formal" training...by that I mean, training in the temple.

I have really no complaints and 2 nitpicks and only 1 that I can recall right now, again the Leia thing at the end, but oh well.

I was upset that they didn't use Chewy more, but that is ok I guess.

My friend explained the reason that they wiped 3PO is b/c he can't keep him mouth shut, I guess that is plausible.

Didn't ya'll just love R2-D2? wasn't he just great? oh the other nitpick...Obi-Wan of the OT did not remember the droids or he choose not to say anything. And now we know why R2 is just so devoted to Luke in the OT, b/c he made the comment that he has never seen such devotion in a droid.

That is really all I can come up with right now, I have more thoughts but I want to see ROTS again before I post more, which most likely will be tomorrow.
