We've got to put this in perspective. This was one whack job Dad. It isn't as though this is common place. How many fathers DID NOT kill their kids that day?
I think we're starting to flip out because news and information is so accessible now. We didn't use to hear about these things going on all over the country. The local news was 30 minutes long and so was the national news. We didn't have 24/7 coverage of events, so we got less information. This stuff has been happening forever, we just didn't know about it. We are info-junkies and it can make us wonder about the world a lot.
