HYDE PARK--yes that is a great area--very trendy and geared a little more toward the post college crowd. I loved Whiskey Park and you must eat or at least have drinks at Mangrove's--love their martinis. My good friend was living there for a few years--I loved visiting. She lived in the Hyde Park area.
Tampa is a great city, you are going to have a blast--you won't want to leave when your training ends! I keep telling my husband he needs to work on getting transferred there, but I think it will be awhile before that happens
