He should make her go through with it and not show up to the altar. That way her parents can be out all that money also . . .
But seriously, she isn't directly responsible for the manhunt. Although she did make a false statement later, probably out of panic because she was all over national television.
The false statement should maybe earn her a fine or something. Jail seems silly.
