I think every organization greek or not gets pigon-holed. There's always a "smart" group, "slut" group, "athletic" group...you get the point. Once you stop being intimidated by the rumors & find out for yourself, you realize that the rumors weren't true.
DukeBlue- go through recruitment. If a sorority cuts you for superficial reasons you don't want to be there anyway. If you're kept purely because you're hot, then be the leader who starts taking girls for personality traits and not for their looks.
