Actually, RACooper has very valid points. Catholicism is the root of Christianity in its oldest version. Protestantism in its myriad forms constitutes the branches. Christianity is the acceptance of JC as the redeamer and the following of His teachings. The implication that Catholicism is different from and therefore not Christianity is absurd and pointedly insulting.
