All,
My mother's friend is a motivational speaker.
The following is a quote that she wrote herself and sent to me recently that truly moved me when I really started to think about it and apply it to my life.
"If you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams, and endeavor to live the life that you have imagined, you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
What is the life that you have imagined? How do you /would you endeavor to "live the life that you have imagined?"
What is an example of you "advanc[ing] confidently in the direction of your dreams?"

My interpretation of the quote is that if I continue to move with prayer and purpose towards my dreams, they will be actualized well before I expected them to ("in common hours" - not taking forever, lol).
The life I imagine for myself consists primarily of peace, love, happiness, and family. I want peace in my spirit, love in my life, happiness in knowing that I am doing what was meant for me, and a family (which includes husband, friends, and children) to share it with. If I can achieve those, I feel that I will be a success.
An example of me advancing confidently in the direction of my dreams: When I started my current job (which was too months before graduation), I said,
I will be promoted in 6 months. I was ACTUALLY promoted in 4 months!!! God is good.
