I kind of feel the same way. Not about the not wanting an engagement ring (platinum, pink or yellow diamond with side stones from Tiffany's, Cartier, or Harry Winston) but about it being weird when both don't wear one. I even had a friend who gave her fiance an engagement ring. It was pretty odd, but I agree with her reasoning.
