I live in the San Diego area, so if you need any help, please let me know. I did a quick google search and found a listing for
www.sandiegoapartments.com which listed a few apartments - looking under the beach city coastal apartments I saw a listing for a condo in La Jolla (near to UCSD according to them) that is furnished and going for $900.
