Yes you can. You should see the "timeline" thingie at the bottom of the screen and you can rewind to go back to the beginning. Or, you can go to the "what's playing" (I think that is what it is called) area and click on that show. I actually make it a habit of missing at least the first 10 - 15 minutes of shows that I record so that I can fast forward through the commercials!
