We all got a letter from the NYC Schools Chancellor today. Big woop. But still nice to be appreciated.
Thanks to my Pre-K teachers (Aunt Evey, Nadine, Joanie Yup we called them "Aunt ---" not "Miss ---") , your creative ideas I "borrow" now in my own classroom! You taught an only child how to share and get along with others. You helped lay the academic foundations for the rest of my schooling.
Thanks to Mr. Durcan my 5th grade teacher who had our whole class learn how to touch-type. A skill I use every single day. You are missed.
Thanks to Mr. Loewing my 8th and 12th grade French teacher for all your support and patience. I will never forget your nomination letter for the 8th grade Good Character award.
My HS science teachers, Kusko, Reddy & Bott for never giving up on the blonde girl who can't remember an elemnt from the periodic table, law of motion or biological system to save her life! Yet, somehow I passed all three Regents exams!
Thanks to Mrs. Hempson my 12th grade Early Childhood teacher who helped me KNOW what I wanted to do when I grow up.
Professor Brown who during 3 different English classes at Moravian helped me really learn how to be a writer.
Thanks to me fellow teachers up in the Bronx...ya'll make coming to work fun!
