1. IEPs
2. Pre-eval paperwork
3. progress reports
4. data collection
5. IEPs
6 IEPs
7. IEPs
8. IEPs

It's only rough when you have a large number of students on your caseload and their information is due within the SAME WEEK and you are NOT organized. Yet, it's the idea of having to complete ALL of those forms. GOODNESS!

This year I only have 3.

I feel you on the IEP thing...I have eight due next week, and three are transfers, so we don't have a cumulative folders on these kids yet or old IEP's. Oh yeah, next week is Open House too. And Progress Reports are due Friday.

For all my special ed teachers: Why did I go to the Special Education Department Chairperson today, trying to explain to her that I can't write an IEP on a new kid that I have no information on (his former school hasn't sent his cumulative folder yet, and they actually told me that they are 'too busy' to fax last year's IEP ) WHY DID SHE TELL ME, and I quote, "to write something right quick."

Loan Forgiveness, and extra stipends aren't enough to DEAL with this mess!
