Yes indeed! The police chief said that she couldn't be charged with a crime because GA doesn't have laws against an adult taking off of thier own volition. HOWEVER, they MUST have some kind of law that they can use. I agree. In most jurisdictions people can be charged with filing a false police report. Remember ol' girl in Ohio who "lost" a winning lottery ticket?
