Plenty... if you're into sports, you've got the Rangers (baseball), Cowboys (football), Mavericks (basketball), Stars (hockey), Desperadoes (arena football) and F.C. Dallas (soccer).
I live about a mile (as the crow flies) from Southfork Ranch (where exterior scenes of the famous prime time TV soap
Dallas were filmed). You'll be surprised that the pool underneath the balcony is nowhere near it in real life (that was a movie set) and that the house isn't as big as TV makes it look to be.
Lakes - Ray Hubbard, Lavon, Lewisville are not too far away.
Then there's always Fort Worthless (ducks for cover). Seriously, Fort Worth does have some nice attractions.
