You know, it is possible to be a representative
and a career politician, the examples of some members of Congress notwithstanding.
Term limits don't necessarily help constituents. All other things being equal, I'd much rather have someone with seniority, institutional knowledge and institutional memory representing me in Washington than some rookie who doesn't know the ropes and who can't command anyone's attention.
You can't become a career politician if people don't keep voting for you.
