I was just wondering what are some of the saying for Football Rivalry Game.

At Minnesota, we sold t-shirts that said "Better Dead Than Red" (so, better dead than going to Wisconsin, or also, I guess, Nebraska)

And shield your eyes if you're afraid of inappropriate/scandalous quotes, but here is the shirt I designed for myself for Minnesota homecoming this year...

A bit of background- Minnesota are the Golden Gophers (real ferocious, I know) with mascot named "Goldy", and we're playing another not-super-great football team in our Big 10 conference, the Northwestern Wildcats with mascot "Willie."

So, the front of my shirt says: "Go Gophers," "Beat Northwestern"
And the back says: "Willie's a pussy!" "Go Goldy! Homecoming 2008"

HAHAHAHA. I think it's so funny. I'm really excited to wear it.

One of my favorite rivalry shirts simply says, "Orange is Ugly" covering both tu and Oklahoma State.

Though the most hilarious ones that I've seen say, "You can't spell cUnTs without UT."

I think we had a thread on GC with some of these in them, but oh well...

When we go to the bar on Saturdays to watch the game with Michigan alums, there are all kinds of shirts. But this one is my fav:

My favorite was a student made shirt from Notre Dame.

Front: Why do the trees in South Bend bend?

Back: Because Purdue sucks and Michigan blows.

If they can make the same design in black and gold, I'll buy them for myself, 33girl and honeychile.:D

These aren't directly related to any rivalry, but I saw shirts at a Wisconsin game that said "BUCKY DID YOUR MOM."

Bucky Badger, obviously. I actually snorted Diet Coke up my nose.
