PNM updates
 

I'm sure that we are all disappointed (but nothing can be done about it) that all that WONDERFUL descriptions of their rush experiences were lost. Might it be possible for all those that have gone through rush this year post where they go to school and with whom they signed bids? If memory serves me we were all waiting anxiously to see if CimsonTide signed with AOII and RusheeGirl is now a ZTA. =)

Rusheegirl and one of the Bama girls are Zetas, I don't know about anyone else.

Oh No! It was lost? That really sucks cuz I wanted to print it someday, and I will never be able to remember it all as vividly as I did as I was going through it. :( Oh, well. Yes, I'm a Zeta Tau Alpha/Iota Chi chapter now. I love my sisters, they're sooo sweet!!! There are only 70 of us (we're the second smallest sorority on campus, next to Delta Zeta), but that only makes us more close-knit. I already know the names & faces of at least 25 of my sisters, and probably either names or faces of a lot more. We had our first flag football intermural last Tuesday against Alpha Chi Omega, and they beat us, but we tried, and that's all that matters! I wanted to play, but I don't know the first thing about football, and my foot was hurting anyhow, so I cheered from the sidelines w/some of my sisters. I learned a couple dif. cheers:

Oh yeah, I got my Strawberry Sis. Since there are more new members than old, though, my Strawberry Sis has two lil Strawberry Sisters. She said she'd call sometime this week to take us out 2 eat but she hasn't called yet. A lot of other girls already got candy & little Zeta stuff from theirs, oh well. Sunday is our first official meeting, and Monday is our Formal Pledging ceremony. :) Yaay I'm loving being Greek! It's funny though how differently people treat me when I'm wearing letters. It seems most guys are either nicer to me just because I'm in a sorority, or they don't talk to me at all cuz they think I'm snobby. Then other non-Greek girls seem to think I'm snobby or something which is sad. Oh, well...Yaaaaaaay! Congrats to everyone else who is a new member of a GLO as well!!! :)

RusheeGirl, I'm sad that your rush updates have been lost ~ but ~ congrats on ZTA! :)

OK. Almost everyone has been accounted for but what happened to CURushee at UC - Boulder? Did anyone hear from her or did I miss that post?

Oh and congratulations to everyone who found their new homes. If you haven't found one yet, don't worry your time will come too!

If memory serves correctly, CURushee withdrew from recruitment (am I remembering correctly??).

In any case, I know (almost) for sure that she did not join a house during formal recruitment. I believe I remember her saying that there was informal recruitment available and she was going to try for COB.

She had a very detailed report posted here, but it was one of the ones that got lost when GC went down.

This is RusheeGirl----I LUV my sisters! Next week is Big/Lil & I can't wait! I also have to have the creed memorized by the 15th. November 10th is initiation! YAY!!! This week has been SigChi Derby Days & it's really fun. We're winning so far---and the final winner gets a big@$$ trophy and money for their philanthropy. Yaaay!!! I can't wait to do the Panhellenic Halloween Party thingy either. I'm just lovin' Greek Life! :)
